Cinema Museum Hosts Ambassador of the Republic of Poland

On Tuesday, December 15, 2025, the Cinema Museum of Iran welcomed Marcin Wilczek, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, along with Rafał Balkowicz, Cultural Counselor of Poland in Iran, for a meeting with Fatemeh Mohammadi, Director of the Cinema Museum of Iran, to discuss avenues for cultural cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the museum director highlighted the esteemed position of Polish cinema and celebrated the achievements of Iranian cinema, emphasizing opportunities for collaboration between the two nations.

Ambassador Wilczek praised the management and preservation efforts of the Cinema Museum of Iran and announced that the museum will host celebrations marking the 505th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Iran and Poland.

The ambassador also revealed plans to screen the documentary film “Where Do the Waves Go?” directed by Amirhoshang Danaei, which explores the arrival of Polish refugees in Iran during World War II.

The meeting concluded with a focus on signing a memorandum of understanding to establish long-term collaboration between the cinema museums of Iran and Poland.
