“The Scorpion’s Shadow” Screening at the Cinema Museum of Iran

As part of the Classics of the Iranian Directors’ Association series, the Cinema Museum of Iran will honor acclaimed filmmaker Kianoush Ayari with a screening of one of his landmark works, “The Scorpion’s Shadow.”

Restored and preserved by the National Film Archive of Iran, the film will be shown on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Cinema Museum.

The Classics of the Directors’ Association program highlights the enduring works of prominent Iranian filmmakers. This upcoming event highlights Ayari’s influential role in Iranian cinema and celebrates his experimental, distinctive cinematic vision.

The event poster was designed by Behzad Khorshidi, and admission is free to the public.
