Public viewing of “Damji”: Shining a Light on Water Scarcity

Iranian short film Damji, directed by Nazanin Chitsaz, has won multiple international awards while tackling the urgent issue of drought and water shortage. Produced at Sooreh Young Filmmakers Center, the film has been featured at over 27 global festivals, including Short Shorts (Japan), ECOZINE (Spain), and Milazzo (Italy). Damji is now available for public viewing, capturing the silent consequences of water loss in a way that feels timely and urgent.
