Fereshteh Hosseini Named Best Actress at Rabat Festival

Fereshteh Hosseini took home the Best Actress award at the 30th Rabat International Auteur Film Festival for her performance in Life Among the Gods, continuing her streak of international recognition.

Fereshteh Hosseini won the Best Actress award at the 30th Rabat International Auteur Film Festival in Morocco for her role in Life Among the Gods, directed by Vuk Resumović and produced as a collaboration between Serbia, Croatia, and Italy.

Hosseini had previously earned the Best Actress award for this film at the Pula Film Festival in Croatia, the Otranto Film Festival in Rome, the Euro Balkan Festival in Italy, and the Hong Kong Lights Festival.

The Rabat International Film Festival took place from November 8–15, 2025, in Morocco’s capital. This year, two Iranian films—Final Game Plan by Peyman Shahbod and Without Permission by Hassan Nazer, an Iran/UK co-production—were featured in the competition section, with Elahe Nobakht serving as one of the jury members.
