The feature film “Blue Tulip”, directed and produced by Mehrshad Karkhani, has been selected for the competition section of the 5th Egyptian American Film Festival in New York.
The festival will take place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, at the Leon M. Goldstein Performing Arts Center, under the leadership of Egyptian filmmaker Ali Badrkhan.
Blue Tulip has previously been recognized internationally, winning the Grand Prize at the Exposure Festival in the UAE and screening at festivals in Italy, India, and the United Kingdom. Its international distribution is managed by Behfar Film, led by Maryam Bahraloloumi.
This selection continues the film’s successful international festival journey, highlighting contemporary Iranian cinema on the global stage.
