The Iranian feature film Raha—internationally titled My Daughter’s Hair—directed by Hessam Farahmand and produced by Saeed Khani, has won the Best Film Award at the 23rd Alice nella Città International Film Festival in Italy.
The festival’s closing ceremony took place on October 25, 2025, in Rome, where producer Saeed Khani and lead actress Ghazal Shakeri attended on behalf of the film.
The cast of Raha includes Shahab Hosseini, Ghazal Shakeri, Zoha Esmaeili, Arman Mirzaei, Mohammadreza Samian, Mohammad Ashkanfar, Hadi Eftekharezadeh, Mahni Mehrparvar, Sepideh Pahlevanzadeh, and Bardia Diyanat.
A socially driven independent film, Raha was released in Iran during Nowruz 1404 (March 2025). International distribution of “My Daughter’s Hair” is handled by Madakto Pictures.
