Salimeh Roudaki, Deputy of Social and Cultural Affairs of District 1 Municipality, announced that on the occasion of Tehran Cultural Week, and in collaboration with the District 1 Municipality and the Cinema Museum of Iran, the Documentary Film Festival about "Tehran" will be held from October 6 to 13, 2025, at the Cinema Museum of Iran.
According to the Cinema Museum News Center, Roudaki stated that this cultural event aims to showcase the works of documentary filmmakers who have explored various aspects of Tehran — from cultural and historical dimensions to social and architectural perspectives.
She added that during the seven days of the festival, a collection of selected documentary films focusing on Tehran will be screened in the museum’s theaters.
The Deputy of Social and Cultural Affairs also mentioned that, alongside the screenings, specialized sessions featuring filmmakers, critics, and researchers in urban and cultural studies will be held.
