The Iranian film In Shadow, directed by Sajad Qaraghuzlou and produced by Hamid Didari, has been selected for the 6th Othismos Film Festival in Italy. The festival is scheduled to take place from October 31 to November 2, 2025, in Rizziconi, Calabria.
This adds to the film’s growing international presence, following its participation in the 22nd Ischia Global Film Festival, HECare Festival in Canada, and the Narin Festival in Kyrgyzstan. In Shadow explores the complex dynamics within a family, featuring performances by Hamidreza Pegah, Siavash Cheraghipour, and Sara Najafi. The film's international distribution is managed by Solmaz Etemad.
The Othismos Film Festival aims to promote the rich heritage of Mediterranean civilization through visual arts, fostering cross-cultural understanding and dialogue.
