Iranian Filmmakers Featured at 69th London Film Festival

The 69th BFI London Film Festival (October 8–19, 2025) will showcase a strong lineup of films from Iranian directors.

Several works by Iranian filmmakers are set to screen at this year’s BFI London Film Festival. Shahram Mokri’s feature Black Rabbit, White Rabbit—a Tajikistan–UAE co-production—competes in the festival’s main competition, while Jafar Panahi’s A Simple Accident will screen in the Gala section.

The festival will also present Maryam Tafakori’s short Night Flowers of the Sea (Iran/UK/France), Selina Ershadi’s Fugue Notes (New Zealand), and Heman Khalidi’s documentary Singing Wings (Iran/Georgia/Belgium).

The 69th edition of the London Film Festival runs from October 8 to 19, 2025.
