The short film Paper Children, directed by Mostafa Keshavarz and written by Ali Soltani and Keshavarz, continues its international journey, joining the 30th Portobello International Film Festival in London (August 28 – September 21, 2025).
The story follows Nosrat, an amusement park guard who “discovers a young girl and, in a moment of distraction, loses track of both her and his own son.”
Previously, Paper Children screened at festivals including the Southport International Short Film Festival, Isfahan International Children and Youth Film Festival, and Roshd Festival.
The film stars Abuzar Mazari Jalali, Niloufar Pourmahdi, Paria Shafiei, and Ahura Bahadori, with international distribution by CineRama.
